Newcomb has the “deer in the headlights” look....and of course the moment is too big for him.
 
Better teams are just going to stand there and let Newcomb walk them. This was what I was afraid of a lot more than homer regression.

He's not good. I hate it but his good start until these last 4 truly was a total fluke.
 
Newcomb turning back into a pumpkin. Guy has just lost his control after being pretty dang solid for the 1st half.

Or...it's more possible that bad teams just couldn't hold the bat vs him and let him walk them and it helped him do a lot better than what he really was.
 
I won't put the pretender contender deal that seems to aggravate you guys, but it's true. Our 1-2 punch has given up a 5-spot each this series. Both are due major regression. We simply don't have the pitching
 
The Brewers are a fine team but they’re definitely not this good. Not even close. This is on Newk. Stupid pitching.
 
Well this certainly isn't out game. Bad luck and worse umpires have kept us scoreless while they get BS hit after BS hit and finally a HR.
