2. It’s pretty important to be able to grip the ball when pitching I hear lol. I don’t know why he was sweating so much, but I literally don’t remember any pitcher sweating like that...ever...what the heck.

A #4 is literally defined as a .320 wOBA pitcher that throws 150-180 innings and produces ~2 WAR.

Oliver Perez is exactly what I project Newk to be. I’m sorry if you’re too dumb to know who he is and what he did. You should have looked him up before you decided to quote me in your sig.

You think that Newcomb is Oliver Perez because you feel that he is? Great analysis, hero. Go take your lithium pill and take a nap or something.
 
I never actually thought Newcomb would stay under a 3 ERA, I think he finishes with a 3.5ish ERA or so but I actually think given this season's events there's mild hope that he can pull off a year or so, like Gio has of a 2.8ish ERA...if he can post a 3.5ish BB/9.

If not 3.5ish ERA is likely his best career seasons...with some over 4 with the real bad BBs seasons. That is how it goes with a guy that doesn't have perfect control.

I project Newk to be Oliver Perez because they are almost identical pitchers based on stuff, age, and peripherals. Jonathan Sanchez was another very good comp. I explained it in detail a year ago. I would suggest educating yourself and reading it.
