I typically don't talk politics. I frankly despise doing so, because eventually in political talk, once people on both sides of the aisle debate and talk, eventually the discussions take and angry tone and the talking becomes heated and hatred tends to happen. I do have political convictions and beliefs. I do vote in the elections on the state and national level because it's a right as an American citizen. There's many other countries that wish they could have elections like ours.

For full disclosure, my beliefs lead me to vote on the Conservative/Republican side. I realize that others don't believe the way I do. I have family, friends, and coworkers who are Democrat. But, we still get along, despite our political differences. It's called being a civilized human being. It isn't worth being a hateful person. And yes, that goes on both sides.

Today by the grace of God, we did not have a JFK or RFK type of event. But we almost did. Literally by a millimeter or two. This needs to be a wake up call. All civilized Americans need to condemn what happened today and stop the hatred and violence. You can disagree, but still be civil about it.

I'm not sure what the point is of trolling after this particular event. This was an attempted assassination and real people died. It's not a comparable situation to the Pelosi event.

Because I have seen noble sentiments expressed on these boards and think we should all be called out for expressing such sentiments in one context and doing the exact opposite in another.

For example on this very page we have a poster expressing dismay about "leftist lunatics saying its fake" and doing the very same thing himself in another context. And to make it even better he denies it!!

They aren't similar scenarios. And you could, you know, just not try and play holier than thou a could hours after this tragic event.

The only reason I have any doubt to what's being told us is how a guy gets into the pelosi home. Perhaps I'm wrong in assuming they have too notch securityO

I saw a picture of the broken door glass. If the door didn't have insulated glass, it was broken from the inside.

I didn't say they were similar scenarios. I'm saying that people who decry a certain kind of behavior in one scenario did exactly the same thang in another.

I guess you're saying those are reasonable questions to ask

this one on page 5 would probably also fall under the category reasonable thangs to wonder about:

Were the police first notified by the call from pelosi or during the break in? I work in a low-crime area, but I have to disable our alarm every morning when I get here. If I don't, the cops are notified. I would think the pelosi house has at least that level of security

you sure had a lot of questions about something so straightforward

and then this (also on page 5):

I do find that odd [that no security footage has been released]. I will say though if no one besides "conspiracy theorists" are questioning it, they could argue there's no reason to prove it.

Anyhow it was classy of Nancy to denounce this attack on Trump. Even more classy considering how he and others (including quite a few on these boards) reacted after someone took a hammer to her husband's skull.

I don't see how any of this reaches the X saying Trump staged the attack.

One scenario is clear-cut with a shooter trying to kill Trump.

With the other scenario it's quite difficult to see what's going on and the whole background to it just seems strange like we haven't heard the full story to it.

There is a reason why one scenario has doubters and the other one shouldn't.

Does nsacpi think think the assassination attempt is bad or not?

He has spent a lot of time on supposed hypocrisy but no time on concern for the victim
 
I've praised Nancy Pelosi's graceful response. That is a hint. I align myself with the spirit and substance of what she said.

Otoh...I can't help but remember a few thangs. Like this (which accurately sums up what a lot of you even with the benefit of hindsight still think about the attack on Paul Pelosi):
