My daughter has been living there for three years. She loves it. Calls it a civilized New York (she lived in the city for several years). I don't think she is coming back. She has taken to referring to the English national team as "we." As in "we gave Spain a good match." I find this disturbing. I have to send her a history book to remind her of the redcoats and Hessians.

I was over in January to visit her. Had a blast. Nothing much has changed from the time I used to visit more frequently for work.

Although if you look at the economic statistics, the UK has underperformed pretty much every comparable economy in recent years. Seems to be related to Brexit.

I pray your little lady doesn't get 'welcomed' by the third world horde as many young innocent ladies are in the new UK/EU.

eh...I think she had more trouble with the gentlemen inhabiting the C-suites in New York. But she knows how to take care of herself. Some of those gentlemen found themselves unexpectedly unemployed.

Make sure you give her real information about what has happened in the UK/EU and don't play politics. This is your little princess afterall.

Reminds me of the illegal immigrant population in this country. We warned about it for years and now it's become a major problem while the left called anyone who saw it coming bigots, xenophobes, etc..
