I can take seriously criticism of how Israel makes particular decisions.

I can’t take seriously the claim that what they’re doing is anything close to genocide. That’s just ridiculous.

If Israel’s adversaries in the region wanted peace, there would be peace.

Now I'm gonna let you in on something- surface level this stuff this doesn't have my support or condemnation because I don't have a dog in the fight. I'm a bystander with nothing invested. No money no blood no nothing. My opinion doesn't matter one hill of beans to either side. Yours either. So lets not call it support in full honestly. It isn't. It is an opinion that I have that if you mess with the bigger bull, you sometimes get the horns. Thats just called life.

So to call it support isn't really support. It is an opinion. We can be honest without the political hot takes on this because frankly we aren't invested. On the other hand, if you want to assign blame and shame look at the POTUS.

Great. My opinion is that 40,000 dead people is a crisis and isn’t just “life” and my other opinion is that as a neutral bystander that it’s weird you’d think such a discrepancy isn’t an issue.

Amazingly I can care about the people being harmed on both sides of a conflict. There just happens to be more Palestinian people to care about because Israel isn’t acting morally.

The difference to me is that I actually want to support Israel in the case of defending themselves from terrorism. I’m not Pro-Hamas. I’m just anti-civilian death and don’t think Israel has done enough to earn my support through their actions in the region.
 
Also, I’m not just ducking the Biden comments. I disagree with them but have too limited an understanding of Iran’s actions to pretend I can actively rebut it having a causal link. But since you have a deep knowledge of the inner workings of Iran’s leaders, feel free to enlighten me.

Hamas has the right to defend itself. But they also have the right to not whine when they get wiped clean from history.

I’m willing to engage more meaningfully with this. Perhaps genocide is a poor use of words. But there does reach a point where the distinctions are largely meaningless if the end result is the same.

Well yeah, I’m not in any pain, but I’ll maybe be a bit snarky when someone is showing such little respect toward me and getting hung up on dumb things like the colloquial meaning of the word support.

If the two sides had their way without consequences who do you think would be attempting to commit real genocide?
