Sadly for Europe they never had a trump they could break through.
They would jail anybody who would become a Trump.
Would have happened here if not for Trump winning in 2016. People don’t even realize how lucky we are Trump decided to run for president.
I hope he does something meaningful in term 2 to combat government overreach with freedom of speech.
But I would like to point out that the Twitter Files happened during his administration.

While not a direct answer to your question, outlawing the death penalty seems to have had no affect on homicide rates.
That being said, I am generally for lighter penalties on practically all non-violent crimes, with the ability to wipe your record clean after a period of time of non criminal behavior. And I am for harsher penalties for violent crimes.
