Is Trump and his "regime" directly causing the deaths of tens of thousands of Americans (really millions if you compared per capita) by instigating a war no one wants? No? Well then I would say your comparison is about as relevant as comparing my little league batting average of .480 to Aaron Judge's MLB career.

When Trump starts a random war that the people of the US overwhelming do not want and another country invades the US, and the the Trump regime hides behind it's citizens for protection, I will be the first to take arms against the government. You can be sure of that.

Hamas started the war. Hamas continues to stoke the fires of this war. Meanwhile Palestinians are allowing Hamas to continue to remain in control.

It sucks it has to be this way for them, but they really only have 2 options. Continue to support Hamas either directly or indirectly, or you revolt against them. They don't have to side with Israel in order to be against Hamas.

Israel tries to destroy Hamas.
Hamas hides behind civilians.
Israel continues.
Civilians die as innocent victims when Israel continues.
“Why is Israel genocidal???”
Israel stops.
Hamas attacks Israel.
Over and over.

Who can stop it? Anyone targeting Hamas will run into the same naive condemnation that stops Israel. Hamas won’t stop because attacking Israel is literally their reason for existence. People need to either shut up and let Israel do the dirty work or tell the human shields to do something about Hamas if they don’t want Israel going through them to do it. No one else has any incentive to take the PR hit.

The mistake Israel made was not taking the entire land from the get go. Same mistake we made with Indians here
