Global Events & Politics Überthread

Oh it isn't?

China finally paying market (above market rates) now for their oil while prices are significantly less for America. We are getting buy in from our allies that policing the lunatic muslims requires a global approach.

Meanwhile, Venezuela is ramping up and production in the states is increasing. Have fun globe trying to industralize with rocketing energy costs. Also, have at it with Ukraine and Russia now that you don't want to help us with something else.
Americans are not paying less for oil

whether Venezuela pumps oil that Chinese consume or Americans consume, has little to effect on oil prices. It’s a global commodities market and arbitrage enforces a near equilibrium.

The bigger problem is the global supply of oil is down significantly because of this War err ummm I mean “bombing to the Stone Age”. Until that problem is resolved, it’s a disaster.

Americans aren’t feeling the price hikes to the extent the rest Of the globe has - it’s a big advantage and leverage point for negotiations.

This is going to be over faster than you can imagine and it won’t even be a topic of news conversation. Trump is negotiating the terms right now with the rest of the “world powers”. Former Iranian leadership is destroyed and can’t even provide basic services to their people.

The US has bombed or invaded and captured their president 2 of the 12 members of OPEC And attacking Iran has lead to them attacking other OPEC nations.

It’s a relative analysis and the flat out truth. Know how much more Europeans and Chinese are paying than they are used to?
I. Do. Not. Care. I would be paying less if we weren’t doing a war, and Europeans and Chinese people would too. I’d be perfectly happy with that outcome.

When?

Tell that to my fucking gas budget, dude.
Over the last four years you paid way more for gas than you have under Trump 1 and 2.

This is a horse shit post.

Almost like cancelling pipelines, exploratory drills and leases domestically was a bad idea! Who woulda done something retarded like that ?????

Or it’s almost like a global pandemic happened. Regardless, Trump’s decision to bomb Iran is still directly affecting my wallet.
