Did you get what you voted for in 2020? Was it exactly what you wanted? For someone so certain America's last election was bull****, you sure are confident each vote in Gaza was counted. Not to mention, imagine the fear of retribution in that decision. Why so certain the Democratic Republic of Hamas is the will of the people? Possibly some bias confirmation in that assumption?

Loved your Covid posts btw

Fair point. Only thing I’d counter with is all public indications even outside of the controlled area are that Palestinians fully support Hamas. Where is the global outcry from expat Palestinians?

Trump is instantly a parasite on any group or individual who's angry, exercising power or just being violent.

Wide spread support for Hamas is pretty evident around the world in the Muslim population. I guess it’s so hard to believe they actually voted for Hamas in the Gaza Strip though for sure.

As I’ve always said. There comes a critical mass point where the Islam population grows to such a number it becomes in safe for the native population.

This is in the Us with no risk of retaliation from Hamas and the people are here willingly. Forgive me if I believe that Hamas was fully elected by their people.

Importing the third world to western nations sure looks like it worked out well.

For Antisemitism

Israel made a terrible and cynical miscalculation thinking Hamas could be a useful foil. I think they have no choice now but to wipe them out.

It is worth noting that once Hamas is wiped out there will be an opportunity to build back better (to coin a phrase) in Gaza.

I've seen some people (including elected officials) argue that Israel is violating the laws of war by asking civilians to evacuate. This is a misunderstanding of the laws of war. It is in fact to be in compliance with the rules of war that the IDF is giving civilians a warning asking them to evacuate. And it is a good thing that many Palestinians in Gaza City are heeding those warnings and moving south in spite of efforts by Hamas to obstruct their efforts to move somewhere where they will be less in danger.

AUCKLAND, New Zealand (AP) — Conservative former businessman Christopher Luxon will be New Zealand’s next prime minister after winning a decisive election victory Saturday.

People voted for change after six years of a liberal government led for most of that time by Jacinda Ardern.

The exact makeup of Luxon’s government is still to be determined as ballots continued to be counted.

Outgoing Prime Minister Chris Hipkins, who spent just nine months in the top job after taking over from Ardern in January, told supporters late Saturday he had called Luxon to concede.

Ardern unexpectedly stepped down as prime minister in January, saying she no longer had “enough in the tank” to do the job justice. She won the last election in a landslide, but her popularity waned as people got tired of COVID-19 restrictions and inflation threatened the economy.

With most of the vote counted, Luxon’s National Party had about 40% of the vote. Under New Zealand’s proportional voting system, Luxon, 53, is expected to form an alliance with the libertarian ACT Party.
