Authorities are now saying they believe the white supremacist manifesto left behind by the terrorist Patrick Crusius is believed to be authentic.
In it, he literally uses the EXACT same bigoted anti-immigrant phrases used by @realDonaldTrump

If the 8chan document is confirmed, El Paso will be the third mass shooting announced on 8chan in advance in less than six months, targeting Muslims, Jews, and Latinos respectively.

Trump will condemn it and say the guy was a whacko just like the pipe bomber. He will condemn it just long enough for the media to move on but his sycophants over at 8chan and the like will just say he's just putting on a show but is still devoted to the QAnon and the cause.
This will happen again. And Trump will do the same thing. I'm honestly shocked someone on the alt right hasn't equivocated these white nationalist shootings being blamed on Trump with Nadal Hassan's Ft. Hood shooting with Obama.
Trump truly believes the rhetoric he incites that brings things like this and "send her back" has nothing to do with him and that no blame should be placed in his direction. It's truly sick. The worst part are people like Mr.Shwag or thethe who say his rhetoric has nothing to do with these crazies and that Don is absolved from any blame and let's turn it on the left. Then you have sturg with nonsensical posts just to try and irritate liberals. It's all too sad.
The scary part is if this happened under Obama's watch the alt right and the Trump diehards would just say Obama staged the shootings to enact gun control and take everyone's guns. Their imagination for their fantasy conspiracy knows no end.

How about the past decade+ of silencing any type of non-conformist views?
How about allowing what is in effect open borders without approval from US citizens?
Yes, Trump has said some things that he shouldn't have but what you really want is for no airing of grievances from anyone who doesn't think like you.

If there was evidence that constitutional gun control would help, I'd be all for it. But to get results the restrictions would have to be extreme and would never be upheld. Even then, I'm not so sure it would be effective considering the hundreds of millions of guns already in the US. I feel like people are ignoring other opportunities by raging over gun control.
The whole "we have to do something" argument is a bad one. By that logic we should ban mayonaise and make Jello the national dish. It's doing something but without any evidence it would be effective in curbing mass shootings.
We need more research into what causes people to reach this point, what the warning signs are, and how we can identify them and intervene before these happen. Because once someone reaches the point of wanting to kill a bunch of strangers, they'll find a way guns or not.

Its social media.
Its gaming culture.
Its so many things outside of guns. America has always had guns but mass shootings are a more recent phenomenon. Its another example of the left using a tragedy to gain power.
