HRC

If Clinton wins she absolutely did earn it and I will support her ... albeit quite begrudgingly. I wholeheartedly dislike her politics and her positions but see little sense in digging in one's heals and resisting the will of the nation - no matter which way the knife cuts. If she's given a clear mandate to lead I am convicted that we should all give her that opportunity to do just that. She'll have two years to prove herself and she knows that.

Is this a Freudian slip? lol

That is like saying the 2016 Cubs don't deserve to be World Series champs because they weren't as good as the 1998 Yankees

she went toe to toe against someone no one else in USA could go toe toe with.

Kept her poise and dignity in the process.

She earned it

we should all hope for her success

There's a difference in "least deserving" and "undeserving". I agree that if she will have won, it will have been earned.

I'm just making more of a macro-level observation. This feels different from when Obama broke the color barrier.

"Crooked Hillary " "Lock her up"
?

I really think some of the political sub conscience doubt comes from the The Mommy Party vs The Dad Party of the 2000 aughts.
Not even misogyny but an uncertainty of how a woman would handle the office.
Trump to his political credit brilliantly exploited the unease.

I don't think any other (R) would have been as effective as Trump. Just like I don't think any other candidate from either party could have dealt with Trump as effectively as HRC.

She came into the campaign with the political notion that anything connected with the Clintons has to have some dirt. One poster here said the other day that he knows she i dirty there just isn't proof.
Think about that for a minute

She is a nerd. No more no less.

I still don't trust her because of how she got to the Iraq vote. I thought it was lazy , because there was a convincing , very convincing argument made by Senator Graham the ranking (D) on Intelligence Committee that she ignored. I thought Obama and (at the time) Sanders the better candidate. But, there are an awful lot of policies we agree on. Whereas I can't name one policy where John Kaicsh,Marco Rubio, (god knows) Ted Cruz etc and I agree. Trump we still don't know what he will do on day in day out policies.

Trump would have gotten under Sanders skin. He never did HRC

I think Hillary has a ton of work to do in order to govern if she indeed wins. The problem is I don't know what she can do to reach across to those who didn't support her without alienating those who did. Could she sit down with the Western Pennsylvania coal miners and explain to them that coal is going to be a part of a balanced energy solution while we incorporate more renewable options without causing an uproar from the environmentalists who would close the mines with no compunction? Could she pardon Snowden without having the neocons who view her as a hawk go batcrap crazy and someone who doesn't care about American security? And these are minor examples that shouldn't elicit much of any reaction but everyone here knows they would.

It's really too late for any other position. Anyone still harping on her trustworthiness or claiming corruption is like a poodle barking at a Nascar race.

I will say this, if the Hillary that gave that concession speech was the Hillary on the campaign trail, she might have won. I have no idea why she tried to be so loud and raucous on the stump. Her calm and collective concession speech was the Hillary she should have showed the people.

Definitely would have had a better chance to beat the Don.

I thought the same thing. Neither her nor Kaine shied away from quoting scripture and actually used it effectively. Killing Trump on religion would have been a smart tactic.

Is there any way Obama doesn't pardon HRC and her associates of any wrongdoing associated with the email server on his way out of office? He's be perfectly able to do it.
