HRC

I didn't think the "deplorables" comment was an accident either. We'll probably never know for sure but here's a take on it.

Hillary has been playing this game with the press for more than 25 years, she’s a pro. The Orange Julius steals an entire news cycle or more with each outrageous statement. She’s turning the tables on Trump, but with an almost surgical purpose. If she had said “a few” or “some” of Trumps supporters were “deplorable”, it would have caused a minor tremor, but not overtake the cycle. In saying “½ of his supporters” I have no doubt that she was referring to the 61% who think that Obama is a secret Muslim-Marxist-Kenyan here to destroy the country. The “50%” was the hook to grab the attention of the press. Look how quickly and professionally the campaign walked back only the “50%’ portion, I’m betting that they had that written by the time she made the original statement.

And let me ask you a question. If this was such a major gaffe, why did the campaign already have a :30 spot ready to go, only having to insert Trumps peeved response to her comment.

And now she's got the media pointing out that the 50% number was probably too low, according to the polls and the questions that have been asked concerning race.

I dont understand whats wrong with the deplorables statement. Honestly both sides are made up mostly of deplorable people. People who think freedom of religion means they are free to force others to live according to their religions rules. People who want to live off the government. People who think they have the right to murder people if they are the slightest big concerned for their safety. People who think black people should be discriminated against. People who think white people should be discriminated against. NAMBLA. Everyone holds views that others consider deplorable.

She is ?

Hundreds of millions of dollars have been spent trying to corroborate your stance and out of all those searches and all of those inuendo's and accusations over 25 years nothing
nothing - has shown her even to be indictable for corruption. Or even like Gov Christie or Richard Nixon, borderline illegal but still unindictable.
And named on indictments.
I would think corrupt to be in the way you are using it a legal term

There are lists of politicians that have been found and tried for corruption
but none name HRC

You should read more -- or get out more. Orr something more ...

I've sped down the road hundreds if not thousands of times in my life and only been pulled over 3 times for it, only gotten 1 ticket. Does that mean that I'm not speeding or just that I'm smart enough not to get caught?

sHillary is a con, deviant, smart, evil, b*tch, that threw tons of money to stonewall any investigation and paid the FBI off with the Jedi mindtrick. I can't believe we will actually put a felon in office. Yes she won't be convicted because the AG can tell the FBI to look the other way, which is obviously what they are doing.

Drumpf is a effing idiot and when he opens his mouth, he sounds even more dumb than he is now. We need a 3rd party in a worse way or we will have a felon or clown in office. We will be the laughing stock of the world.

I agree with the general consensus. I get why Trump won the R nomination because he was running in a huge field and had his core following. With moderate republicans looking to leave the party to vote for Hillary, with others looking to leave for Libertarian votes, Hillary still can't put him away. She's a horrible candidate because she lacks that ability to beat the most beatable candidate ever. I think she wins though because Trump will make an ass of himself in the debates.

Moderate Republicans voting for Hillary? What world do you live in? I would think it would be the other way around since Trump identified as a Democrat until a few years ago.

HuffPo: If Trump wins, blame Clinton

I'd love to hear our resident Clinton ass kicker's thoughts on this one

Paraphrasing Winston Churchill "time and candidates must come together." Hillary is a 1990s DLC creation. Although she's morphed some of that approach to more appropriately fit the issues of today, she has a record that simply doesn't fit comfortably with what is now on most Democrats' front-burner. I don't blame millenials for their skepticism and if they want to vote for Johnson or Stein, that's their prerogative. But if they somehow think a Trump administration is going to simply be a blip on the radar, they might want to carefully consider what they are doing.

PS--From the beginning, I think Hillary's been playing "not to lose" and that is, again, a shopworn strategy from an earlier era. She needed to have a more aggressive outreach across all voter as opposed to simply splicing together the traditional blocs of her support with the admonishment to stragglers to get on-board or we'll have the other guy.

b) HRC is "not to lose". That is who she is, look back through her history -

c) the primary wasn't as close as Bernie Bros want you to believe. The race, for all intent and purposes , was over 5 months before her nomination

d) history tells us people of the voting age of "millennials" for all of the trumped up enthusiasm we are sold , don't turn out to vote

e) the debate schedule and the organizational foundation of delegate allotment were in place while Sanders was still filling out his change of party registration. It was as rigged as Obama's Manchurian Candidate entrance into the US.

f) I voted for Sanders and would again. But, we lost time to move on
