NY Governor demands Biden do something on immigration.

Wonder what she thought we happening in Texas and Florida etc the last 40 years ?

Not so stoic to start demanding help with less than a years worth of immigrants on the ground.

Been in South Texas for a long time and I have yet to see the problem.
 
Gonna take a shot in the dark and say dropping off people who speak little or no English in a place where few people speak Spanish that has a naturally cold climate is bound to create problems. I deal with people all the time who don't speak English. I imagine it's a lot harder for them in NY. I see these people dressing like they are going to the arctic when it's 60 degrees outside so I can't imagine how they survive in NY.
 
Then why is a crisis in NY but just fine in Texas? Language barrier means a lot. Having other Hispanics in the area helps a lot. I have seen 10 get a 1 bedroom apartment until they get themselves established in the area. There's even stores that default to Spanish to cater to that community. I used to own a buisness selling and moving repossessed mobile homes. We started out wanting to use American workers. Couldn't compete. Americans wouldn't work for less than 100 a day. We ended up hiring illegals for 50 a day which is whatbothers did. You can be mad about that but it lowered prices for consumers by hundreds of dollars.

NY has the 9th largest latino population in the US, with 20% of the population (or 1 out of every 5 people) being latino. But yeah, the issue must totally be that people just can't communicate with them and they hate the cold weather....

Its obvious when people out themselves as knowing very little.

I almost fell out of my chair this morning when I read that stupidity.

Maybe becasue it's NOT fine in TX? It's been in crisis for decades. Are you just now learning about illegal immigration?
 
I have lived in the biggest city in Texas for 30 years and I dont see the crisis. Where is it. Where is all these homeless immigrants that need to be housed in police stations and all this **** I hear about in NY.

I am obviously no expert on NY. I guess its the Puerto Rican population there? I dont know that they would be as willing to help illegal immigrants as people in Texas who were at one point illegal immigrants themselves.
