Trump told the mob he didn't know how Pence was going to proceed on Jan. 6, but that was a manipulative lie he used to create more anger towards Pence. He set up a false narrative of the day's events with only one purpose.

Trump, Pence, Rudy, Cruz, Hawley and others should have to testify. History is going to ask why these actors weren't called to testify.

Intimidation is the word.

Pence was the main target.

Nullification of an election was the goal.

very poorly chosen one and the insurrectionists should be deported to Haiti and made to work cutting sugar cane in the fields the rest of their lives. We should pay Haiti whatever price they name to take them.

Hey moron, i'ts been explained a bunch, If Rand Paul came in contact with someone who had the virus he could pass it to someone else even though he may not become sick.

When we have enough people vaccinated to get spread down to a minimal number than we'll be fine.
 
Where did all this impartial juror stuff come from? If it was about having an impartial jury there would be a randomly selected pool, voir dire of the jury, etc.

The impeachment process is not about impartiality, it's about checks and balances.

At the end of the day, I agree with Mitch McConnell of all people. Trump provoked the people who did it and has some moral responsibility for what happened. I just don’t think the link was clear enough to impeach him.
 
Did the GOP choose for them the lesser of two evils here? Or did they put another bullet hole in their foot?
