Pretty clear he's playing the long game at this point. Outside chance that Trump goes with a new VP this election and Paul would likely be his pick, may be in an attempt to sway some independent voters. Or may be he's planning a presidential run in 2024 and has to walk the party line to get the support. Either way, it's pretty clear he sold out.
 
Curious when this gets violent.
History tells us authoritarian regimes will only give up power when forced by violence.

I know what game he is playing. I can forgive him for a lot because I know he has to go with the flow if he wants to be President but this is too far. I am as Conservative as anyone who posts here, but 49 Republicans just died to me today.

After the election. Possibly pre election if it looks really bad for IMPOTUS. Anything close either way is going to be really bad. If/when IMPOTUS loses he will huff and puff about impending lawsuits and investigations.


I just hope the next President sufficiently trolls the Republicans when he takes over.

An acquittal without witnesses, aka a sham trial by the GOP, is probably the Dem's best outcome in the leadup to Nov.

Can't wait for Trump's SOTU to really taunt the Dems about acquittal and how he survived not one but TWO witch hunts.

and RNC officials.

I mean it's no wonder Graham and Nunes have basically been bending backwards for Trump.

They had to be doing and talking about opposition research of expected 2020 opponets. So I think some people had to be aware in a general sense but not know the whole scheme.
 
I think the next President needs to clean house. Fire every federal government employee who withheld evidence. I dont care what reason they give. If your loyalty is to the President instead of the country then you need to go ASAP.
