Majority of Americans support impeachment at this point. 83 percent of Dems and 44 percent of independents and over 11 percent of Republicans. You are insane if you think this isn't an issue.
83% of Dems are ~100% likely to vote for the Dem regardless of this impeachment hearing or not.
Dems will also put a socialist on the ticket so that will be the overriding factor for Independents and Republicans.
Outside of the coasts there is a small percentage of people that actually care about this.
They like that there is more money in their pockets and that something is being done about illegal immigration.

Really, the transcript says it all. President of Ukraine talks about military aid. chosen one cuts him off to say that he needs a "favor." The only available defense argument is that the transcript shows a "perfect" call as chosen one puts it. The witnesses are gravy. Well, maybe I am not taking into account the political aspect of this. Having compelling and credible witnesses testifying in public session could move the polls some more.

If this was going to be a trial by the usual jurors it's a spam dunk, but with Republicans holding 53 votes out of 100 it's going to take an avalanche of evidence. Trump and his base losing their minds during the trial will do as lunch as the actual evidence to sway public opinion further away.

This is the exact reason these interviews were done privately, to prevent the witnesses from coordinating a message. Interview them all first and see which stories line up to filter the BS (Sondland).
This is why the GOP members in house loyal to DT kept shouting and demanding transparency and an open setting (which was going to come anyways). Those political theatrics were all there to just stir up emotions for trumpets like thethe to get them energized.
