BREAKING: Gordon Sondland flips and throws both @RudyGiuliani

and @realDonaldTrump

under the bus!

Mic Mulvaney press confrence live right now.

"Now getting to buisness at hand, I understand it's been a fairly slow news week"

He then made a good Nationals/Expos joke. He has a future in comedy.

Please take questions!

Boy, there’s a whole lot of “at the President’s direction” in that statement.

Seems like he’s trying to thread the needle by disclaiming any knowledge of what exactly Trump was looking for, though.

Mulvaney - "we are having the g7 at Trumps property because it's the perfect location, it's just a coincidence it's a Trump property"

Press - "then why has no g7 happened there before"

The press literally just told Mulvaney this is going to be investigated.

Mulvaney "you think so?"

I am watching SNL right now?

Jeez. Seems like pretty much everyone who works closely with Trump is chicken****, compromised, or crooked.

The essence is clear as far as the central chosen one/Giuliani conspiracy goes. Sondland's personal knowledge about the conspiracy is small potatoes.

Press - "if there was nothing wrong with the call why put it in a more restrictive server"

Mulvaney "cover up, what cover up, would we have called the Department of Justice almost immediately and had them look at the transcript of the tape, which we did by the way, if we wanted to cover this up then would we have released the transcript to the public"

Yeah, the rest of us are confused why you would release that **** publicly too. But hold up a minute. Why exactly was the transcript given to the DoJ review almost immediately? Is that normal? What other reason could there be to give that to the DoJ than because someone thinks there's a legal issue. And when he says DoJ. Who exactly in the DoJ. The OG AG? I wonder why he said this is the last question before he started answering the question. This all played out like he knew exactly which reporter was going to ask him that question.

Also of note, I think the only reporters he didnt call on to ask a question was CNN.

I didnt realize this is breaking news but Trump awarded the next g7 summit to his florida golf course. So now we know why he was talking about the emoluments clause at his rally. If this isn't a violation of the emoluments clause nothing is.

They're trying to admit as much guilt as possible without screwing themselves anymore. They must be in a panic to send Mulvaney out in front of the wolves.

Congress should pass a quick bill saying the President will pay for the G7.

From memory, the striking part:

Reporter: "To be clear, what you just described is a quid pro quo.”
Mulvaney: “Get over it. There’s going to be political influence in foreign policy."

Soooo, we're not denying quid pro quo anymore?
