Irma

Is it still going west? Is it me or has the forecasted paths being reported for Irma and previously Harvey complete and utter bull****?
 
Back to a cat five. I hope everyone has left the Keys, though I know some "die hards" are going to stick it out. Bad thing is, there's no safe spot in the Keys from a monster like this. And it's just about too late to leave. The first rain bands are hitting south FLA.
 
Here in Athens, Ga., about an hour south of the mountains in the northeastern part of the state, the hotels are slammed and roads packed with Florida tags. And the grocery stores are way low on bread. Thank God there's not a football game here this weekend.

Chance we could get some Category 1 level wind gusts Monday/Tuesday.

Luckily, this hurricane aggressively slowed down and won't be so catastrophic.

I guess that also means that praying worked and man-made climate change isn't as bad as we thought (since climate change was the reason the storm was so strong)
 
Been out of power since Monday noon (after the storm left ironically). Finally came back on! Wasn't whining like most first world complainers. Took my cold showers and what not. Just glad it's over with.
