Which group actually had a bigger impact on the 2016 election? Russia or Google?

But we’re told since we live in a capitalism system, google can do what they want and the market will take care of it

I don't give a crap about what some people think is capitalism. Companies like Google destroy capitalism and should be burned to the ground.

Looking back I only see you, sturg and K talking bout Google

who is cheering what ?

Why should you care about censorship right? Why should you care about the largest company in the world putting their thumb on the election scale?

just to be clear, no one is cheering anything.

Stop that ****, I and others can speak for ourselves
No problem with you posting and going on about issues real or imagined but fer chrise sake, quit putting words in peoples mouths

Would a better characterizarion be sitting idly by whilr we become slaves to a corporation?

When someone says "preventing the next Donald Trump" I take that as preventing another clown from becoming President, not preventing another Republican. In my opinion they should be more worried about preventing another Hillary.

On November 6, 2018, nearly 65 percent of Florida voters—more than 5 million people—resoundingly approved Amendment 4, restoring voting rights to over a million of their fellow citizens. By passing Amendment 4, Floridians successfully ushered in the largest expansion of the electorate in nearly 50 years. The people of Florida did it on their own, using a constitutional ballot initiative, to finally achieve change where Florida politicians had failed.

Instead of celebrating this progress, Florida politicians are trying to destroy it. The Florida legislature passed, and today the Governor signed, unconstitutional legislation that requires people who are eligible to vote under Amendment 4 to pay the exorbitant court costs, fines, and fees levied against them at the time of their conviction, or lose their right to vote. In turn, the ACLU and partners filed a federal challenge seeking to block the law.

I support using social pressure but the ABA should in no way be a part of that. If lawyers dont want to defend them they are free not to do so but no one should be punished for defending anyone.
