Is Free Speech Under Attack in this Country?

Gop frontrunner for 2024 says if he wins he will investigate news media he doesnt like for treason and that they should pay a big price. You dont have to like Biden to see Trump for what he is.

"The Post is going to have damnable...problems....They have a television station . . . and they're going to have to get it renewed. . . . [T]he game has to be played awfully rough."

If the Biden administration threatened any firm with antitrust action or something along the same lines, I'd be similarly concerned.

However, if they caused Clegg or Zuckenberg a couple sleepless night by pointing out that the deza on their platforms had contributed to thousands of deaths, I would view that as an appropriate use of the bully pulpit.
 
i know some our most outspoken FAKE advocates of freedom of expression will want to lament this decision

Drag shows aren't illegal behind closed doors. Doing it in public in front of kids is.

I like going to titty bars. However, there isn't a chance in hell that I support that going on in public for everyone (especially kids) to see.

The courts generally support decency laws. The 5th Circuit will annihilate this judge's crackpot decision.
 
No problem with them doing it- as Long as minors are far far away. It seems they are always front and center though

Question. Do you think adult men dancing naked in front of young children is an act of free speech and should be protected?
 
the judge in his opinion pointed out some parents are ok letting their kids watch an R rated movie and others choose not to...may y'all be wise custodians of your children and respect the choices other parents make

The difference is that those parents who are watching R rated movies with their kids are doing it in the privacy of their own homes. You do not have a right to public nudity/perversion. Watch what the 5th Circuit does to this case.
