Is Free Speech Under Attack in this Country?

I’m not stunned by Greenwald resigning as the writing has been on the wall for a while, but I admire the conviction nonetheless.

He’s going to get raked through the coals. A dissenting progressive is a pretty vile sin.

Americans see what's happening and they don't like it. Leave the echo chamber of online communities and you'll see that and see it clearly.

I'm shocked you came to the defense of censorship.

Greenwald says he will be publishing all the emails and letting the readers decide.

Yes I already know which side you will be defending

No one is censoring Greenwald. He has so many places he could go and get published. And he will. The Intercept has its editorial standards. Standing up for those standards is not censorship.

Not anywhere of consequence.

Supporting the theory that everything or anyone involved with Trump -- meets a sad end

At this point, after all repetition and amplification, it can justifiably be said that

Donald Trump is THE most documented liar in all of human history. This is ALL of

human history, going back even to the Mayans and Mesopotamians,

and including the lost continent of Atlantis.

Denying
broadcasting of lies is not attacking free speech.

There is no laptop just like there was no basement or emails or or or or --- malfeasance surrounding a failed land deals over 30 years ago.
The world has caught up

My favorite was the Clinton Foundation where Trump stood up and hollered and all the plebs cheered and chanted Lock Her Up.

Only in the end, Clinton Foundation passed with flying colors while Donald,DonJr. Ivanka and Eric are prohibited by law from being involved in any non profit foundation because they took the money donated for cancer research.

So no,

Greenwald is a tautology. Where ever he is is of consequence by his own presence.

He broke the biggest news story of the last 20 years and has amassed a huge bipartisan following. He hasn’t met any “sad end” of any sorts.

I will give Trump this, he is the best mudslinger of all time. Democrats need to take some notes. Just imagine what Trump would say about someone with the baggage Trump brings.

we'll see.

For curiosity sake, what are you considering the biggest news story of the past 20 years ?

I always have trouble reconciling

"Trumps behavior is so unacceptable that he must be thrown out at all costs"

With

"Dems can and should act like Trump to play by the same rules"

You are welcome to show me where I ever said his bizarre behavior is a reason he must be thrown out at all costs. I defended his bizarre behavior and even his lying for a long time. Just like some people here. I never voted for him and I have never have and never will regret not voting for Hillary. I put that on the Democrats for nominating her in the first place. I said I wanted Trump to win because he would combat the growing PC threat to the country. I was the one saying "how bad could he be?". I would be surprised if even the "left" here thought he would be this bad.

And to be clear I said mudslinging. I am not referring to the weaponizing and politicization of the government and the merging of the federal government with his campaign. These are things that happened before Trump to an extent but he has taken it to very dangerous extremes. Like I have said for a while, the only thing keeping this country from tearing itself apart is that Democrats arent willing to use the tactics of Republicans.
