Wanting your staff to dress in uniforms appropriate to their biological sex because the failure to do so can cost your funeral parlor it's business is unreasonable, but banning only people who incite violence from one side of the political spectrum is reasonable. Got it.

That’s true but you have to understand her position. She advocates the government setting speech standards most notably regarding hate speech. So private corporations might not censor but the government would. That’s really the opposite of how the first amendment works here.

I know it’s a lot to ask but I really wish you’d start reading the articles you find on dumbass radical right twitter before posting them here

Initially, the company said too many customers had requested the sites be blocked, so it would block them for all customers except for those who called the company and requested access.

However, the company backtracked on Monday and said those who didn't request the sites be blocked would still have access.

One thing I’m curious about is what the proposed solution is for Tech censorship. Repeal Section 230 and open them up to more liability over what’s posted? Lead an anti-trust suit against the major tech companies? Start a government-operated alternative? What does moderation look like? If someone calls for violence against Congress, does that get moderated? What does the actual line look like?

I’m watching in real time yet again as prominent conservatives bemoan their lack of a platform on that platform, so it’s not that being Conservative is enough to be banned. I’m watching Matt Gaetz be among them, so it’s not being a Trump supporter that does it.

I can get on board with this. I agree it’s bad to silence someone for simply being conservative. If Ron Paul’s page was calling on “Patriots” to stop some sort of steal, I think that could be a different story, but just revoking service for ****s and giggles isn’t a great look.

no one has been banned from anything for simply being conservative. there are tons of conservatives all over all of these websites.

*public figures of one party repeatedly and openly inciting violence. fixed it for you. all kinds of people have been banned from all kinds of websites for all kinds of things. it’s leaders vs. randos.

Yall keep saying nobody can handle nuance but then you completely ignore the literal calls for violence from democratic lawmakers all year that resulted in death and destruction.

I asked for Trumps quotes calling for violence... Cajun gave an attempt but basically came up with "he just did it over time". It is so obviously clear yall just peddle whatever CNN tells you to think.
