Is Free Speech Under Attack in this Country?

The company certainly has the right to do this. It won't end well.

You're being far too reasonable.
One positive I hope will come from this is that the right side of the political spectrum will overcome their aversion to reasonable regulation. The same side that shut down Net Neutrality is screaming about this. Ironic.

I agree with you that those companies have the right to the actions they took. I also think it's a major long term negative for the country as everyone will become even more siloed.

It's incredibly ironic that the anti-intellectual crowd is 100% reliant on the very elites they loath to be able to spread their anti-intellectualism.

If your side is so smart, why can Parler only operate on the AWS platform? What kind of low end hacks wrote that code to be so tightly coupled to a single web service provider? It proves everyone calling folks on the right morons are right...they can't produce anything of value.

This whole argument is like a teenager rebelling against his parents and then getting mad when they turn off his credit card.

I never accused the Parler crowd of being smart. And calling them my side shows a lack of knowledge about my ideology.

The time for the right to complain about cancel culture was when Trump was championing cancel culture for anyone who didnt bow down and kiss his ass. Now that the funs over and they have to face the consequences of their actions we are supposed to feel sorry for them? Its not even the true believers I am the most mad at. Its the ones who come out now and talk about how crazy, incompetent, and unethical Trump was. Its too late now to get credit for that ****. I cant think of anything more urgent than letting people know the President is bordering on criminally insane.

So this is where we're at. Cajun bringing this weak whataboutism on the day Ron Paul was suspended without warning or explanation on Facebook. TDS is real.

"They're a private company, they can do whatever they want..."

"... except refuse to bake a cake, as there are external costs"

..."except pollute the air, as there are external costs"

..."except pay employees less than. $15/hr, as there are external costs"

Perhaps cajun can point out these hypocrites while he's at it

I'm sure Cajun is livid about thos. While Trump whined about it, AOC is moving to actually censor

I think she'd be surprised to learn that the first amendment actually likely protects the right to "spew disinformation," especially on political subjects.

Nah but family in general is white supremacist

Thanks, I'm having a hard time keeping up. I learned in another thread that to associate something with it's most likely case is racism. Like, if I say "coon hunter" and you think of a rural white guy, then you're a racist. My tiny mind can only take so much. Fortunately I have some great software to help me.

I always love that Fb claims he doesn’t follow conservative media circles

Yet he is always on message

Always the same points that I see from other conservative cult members

Must just be a coincidence

we have already discussed your obsession with pronouns

just cause the house rules thing is making rounds again in conservative twitter and media again

doesn't mean it's worth talking about

i didn't make an argument at all. i didn't engage "your" topic at all. i talked about how it's funny you always bring the talking points from people you claim to not follow

that was all

These words are right wing fascists dangerous coup words or something

Fun fact: these words aren’t banned from the House. This is only meant to apply to the text of the House rules document. It’s pointless, not fascist.
