Not time to blow it up but need to replace Huddy. A John Lackey type quality pitcher would do nicely and might even make us a legit contender in 2015.

I have been a braves fan longer than most of you have been alive and have supported the team through thick and thin; you have read very few negative posts from me

The intent of this post was to look down the road another 2 years. Will we still be in this boat ? I think we will. We have a great young core which may benefit with the addition of younger hungrier players. I don't advocate blowing this up for blowing up sake...hell I remember the 60's 70's and 80's and still supported the team

Will we still be in what boat? We have one of the youngest and most talented team in the majors and are the defending NL East champs. We are also in seriois contention again this year. Thats a boat I want to be in every year. 162 games is a long season an.d its a roller coaster ride. Last year the Dodgers were close to firing their manager before going on an incredible hot streak. The Royals were under .500 not long before going on a 10 game win streak.

The Atlanta Braves don't rebuild they reload. For 25 years we have picked lower than 20th twice and hit a home rum with both of those picks. If any team should get the benefit of the doubt in the regular season from its fans its the Braves.

Blow up? Not even close. We have a very good team in my opinion. We have no veteran presence and yes we have issues, but this is a good team. We need to fix a few things but we can go far. Alex wood being back in the rotation is a huge.
