Is this make or break time for this season?

If we start 0-5, let alone at home this could spell any hopes we had on attain a wild card berth. Not to mention we'd have to go to Gnats next week. I'm still optimistic we're gonna make some noise this season.:tchop:

I'm also worried because Andrelton was the last player we.had with unmatched grit.

You can tell A.J. has run out of grit. Nobody else on our team has that grit.

I have to say no, because I never had such hope. The joy I find in watching this season is the joy of watching a skyscraper going up from a distance. (Anyone been here long enough to remember seeing the IBM Building -- now Atlantic Center or something generic like that) going up? Gazing and wondering what the final shape would be? Watching that future take shape, girder by impossible girder, is amazing. I wouldn't want to inhabit an unfinished building, but there's something rather astonishing about seeing it rise and slowly take shape.

I'm fine as long as we stay out of 1962 Mets territory. I have us pegged as a less than 70-win team. I just want to avoid the 100-loss mark.

What don't you guys understand? You haven't seen nothing yet, wait to after the All-Star break, that's when we start competing. It might be too late to qualify for the World Championship, but it is going to be an unprecedented turnaround.

This season needs to be, for all intents and purposes, broken into halves. Callups will start in June and by August, it will be a comopletely different look on the field. On the upside, think 1991.

i am cool with whatever happening this season to get rid of Fredi asap

It's strange to see an Atlanta team without grits.

Thought that was a southern delicacy.

I would say the make or break moment for playoff contention this season was this . . .

11/12/15 Atlanta Braves traded SS Andrelton Simmons and C Jose Briceno to Los Angeles Angels for SS Erick Aybar, Sean Newcomb, RHP Chris Ellis and cash.

Simmons can't hit fo s*it. He was a player I loved but that trade is far from the reason why we're not going to contend this year. Every move we've made over the last two years is why
