Israel

I have no love for Israel and especially Jews, can't trust them (yes I am a racists toward Jews and Muslims, you can put a stamp on it), but I know they won't strap a bomb to their chest and kill children to prove a point either.

I detest terrorist more than Israel and I detest Muslims who won't do anything to reign them even more.

In addition to deaths, there are 2 other "noble" purposes of Hamas - to terrorize and to goad. And what's the object of the goading? To get Israel to strike back and kill - including killing civilians - their own frickin people. Hey but as they say, they love death as much as the Jews love life.

So go on play your Hamas sympathy card.

Also, tell me why did Israel give back the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt? Land for peace was it?

All Hamas has to do is acknowledge Israel's right to existence and then all the pressure is on the hardcore Zionists who want all of the land between the Nile and the Euphrates.

Not the entire strip and if they really want to protect their fellow Palestinians (yeah, right) then they'd try to set up camp in the Sinai. Why don't they do that? Oh, right the Egyptians don't want them.

Only some do. And guess what gives the hardcore an edge? That's right - stunts like those pulled off by Hamas.

Israel as a country just has to maintain basically it's present boundaries, defensively.
 
Which again, all that Hamas would have to do is recognize Israel's right to exist (renouncing it's own charter language) - fully recognize that right - and the pressure then is on those very settlements. You think as quickly as world opinion turns against Israel in a conflict like this, that if Hamas did what I said they should do, world pressure wouldn't amp up even more against Israeli settlements? Let me be frank - I mean it's rather easy not to like the "Jews." Right?

Can Hamas become a legitimate political party? Yes, but it has to rid itself of it's own DNA?

This sums up the issue, Hamas and others do not want Israel to exists but Israel will allow them to exist.

THIS IS WHY THE WORLD IGNORES HAMAS AND OTHERS because the world charter frowns on people who want to genocide another ethnic group.

They've only done that for military reasons though. I think in the end you have to ask yourself would you rather have Israel survive this thing or Palestine/Hamas? Can you answer that with a simple yes or no? Curious to see your answer to that.

I disagree. I think ole Zito held his own with Meta earlier this week, which is not easy to do. He's a smart dude and held his ground there. I've enjoyed this thread as well. All in all I think this has been a good week for ole Zito. Sure I disagree with him itt, but it's 5 pages of decent discussion. In the mean time you've admitted to being an anti semite. Not exactly a great time to call out others for having a **** week.

I disagree with that. I think Israel is willing to let Palestine exist in a more reasonable peaceful form. I'm not sure Palestine is willing to let Israel exist in any form. And I think Israel proved this during the 2000 negotiations. Again... Arafat refused to negotiate. Clinton called him out for this.

But for hypothetical purposes what if you could only choose one or the other?
 
This may sound snobby, but Israel is a civilized society. In a civilized society more folks are willing to give into reason. Clinton came up with a great plan in 2000. By all honest legit accounts Barak was ready to negotiate and Arafat wasn't willing to even listen. Israel is far from perfect, but I think if you were being honest you would say that you approve more of Israel's constitution than Palestine's.

Intimating that I thinking bombing houses is totally cool is a desperation move.

Palestinians (especially those in the Gaza strip) have to do some soul searching. They can go the Fatah route with the hopes of a two state peace with virtually all the pressure on Israel or the Hamas/Islamic-Jihad route which has screwed them with the Israelis and now with the Egyptians (since the military is in control of Egypt). They can double down with hate or...

Be as it is, you are correct. I HATE the Muslim religion because of how they treat females, killing them at whim when they do anything slightly wrong and they have nothing to defend them.

But it doesn't change my stance, don't like Israel but at least they are civilize, but I don't like those who fight them even more because they are stupid.
