Have you ever considered that if the facts were on your side you wouldn't have to censor and bully Republicans to publicly agree with you. Nothing says freedom like threatening peoples careers if they dont agree to revise history to what you want it to be.

Nobody in the GOP really cares what Kevin McCarthy may have said to whomever. It was just a line of BS anyway, filtered through his internal editor with only one goal - to promote whatever line of reasoning protects him.
He was appeasing Cheney and the caucus in the moment. He did the same thing whenever he spoke to Trump or anyone else. Master manipulators, meaning almost everyone with a brain, know how to do this instinctively.
The folks in the media acting like this is a big deal are either manipulating us or they're naive enough to believe the GOP and their supporters still have a shred of decency. They don't.
