It wasnt the riot it was the attempt to muddy the waters by Trump to get enough electoral votes not counted so the President would be chosen by the House of Represesnatives where he presumably had the votes to win. They still would have had to win the court case in the Supreme court which I dont think they win but its all funny considering MAGA people like little thethe were calling everything a coup attempt against Trump his entire presidency.

I hate to agree with Cajun here but ultimately that was the plan AFTER uncovering all the fraud that we have seen which is what you have highlighted.

Since there is no way to 'unwind' the fraudulent votes to determine a true winner at a state level those would be removed and the House would have to vote on it.

Maybe that is the case but from everything I listened to and read it was all about getting it into the house and letting them decide when it became apparent the vote count could not be relied upon.

For sure - The delay was step 1 and based on what we all know what was going to be found with additional REAL inspection the only remedy would be to go to the house to vote.

You literally are doing what you are accusing me of. There was no result of any of these hypothetical audits that Trump wouldnt have claimed the results were tainted or that show he won. Then he applies pressure to the GOP legislatures in these states to either declare him the winner or just not certify a result leading to neither candidate getting the 270 votes. You can call BS all you want but watch what happens when if he loses in 2024. He didnt apply pressure soon enough last time. This time he will get them to just not certify any state he loses with a GOP legislature.
