It amazes me that they claim to care so much about Trump's policies when it's becoming increasingly clear they only care about your willingness to bend the knee. Liz Cheney- who has always been staunchly conservative on policy and voted with Trump 93% of the time- is being replaced with Stefanik, who voted against Trump's agenda as much as any Republican in the house (about 25% of the time). It would seem that anyone who cares primarily about Trump's policy agenda would prefer to have Cheney in that role, but the party has fully embraced that Trump's ego is the top priority.

Ultimately, it might be good for the Dems to have a significantly more liberal member in that role.
