I don't think genital surgery is something they should do until adults. As I understand it, this is a non-issue in Arkansas and Kentucky. So those states basically manufactured a problem that doesn't exist as a pretext to further marginalize a minority group that is generally marginalized socially. Fortunately, the times they are achangin' and by and large the yute of america don't share the hangups of their elders and are generally much more supportive of their trans friends.

Hopefully, after these court cases the legislatures of states like Arkansas and Kentucky will focus their energies on tackling actual for real problems such as dental insecurity.

no one gets approved for such treatment on a whim...it is provided for patients who over a period of years (yes years) have consistently expressed a gender identity different from their biological sex...and only after extensive evaluation by doctors and psychologists...and only after the patients and their parents have been given clear explanations of the risks involved

this is false... and has been proven so many times. people are able to get these prescriptions after one visit.

and even if it weren't false - I couldn't care less how many evaluations are done before an adult decides to chemically castrate a healthy child.

meanwhile, the puberty blockers you support are also used for chemical castration of sex offenders. such a lupron.

The college age daughter of a friend had a double mastectomy because she didn't want breasts. Seems a little extreme to me but it's her body.

Also, sturg might not be aware of this, but some guys who like wearing women's apparel aren't even gay. They just prefer women's clothes designs and colors.
 
CNN) Connecticut man John Griffin was arrested Friday and charged with three counts of using a facility of interstate commerce to attempt to entice minors to engage in unlawful sexual activity, the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Vermont said in a news release.

Griffin, 44, has been a producer with CNN for about eight years.

"The charges against Mr. Griffin are deeply disturbing," a spokesperson for the network said in a statement Saturday. "We only learned of his arrest yesterday afternoon and have suspended him pending investigation."


The charges stem from conversations between Griffin and the purported parents of minor daughters, in which he allegedly tried to persuade them to "allow him to train their daughters to be sexually submissive," as well as an incident in which prosecutors allege unlawful sexual activity occurred with a 9-year-old girl, the news release said.
