Normally a doctor approves a surgery because there is something wrong with the kid. Like lets say the kid has a deviated septum. They diagnose that the septum is deviated and offer surgery if it is causing problems with the child. The parents approve of the surgery and the child gets the surgery because it's medically necessary.

With gender and hormones, there is no proof that the kid was born in the wrong body. The only possible diagnosis is simply believing what comes out of the child's mouth. Children can lie, be manipulated and be persuaded. Approving a life changing surgery for a kid based on their word is medical malpractice. There isn't a human on earth that can accurately determine every time a child is lying or has been manipulated or persuaded into saying something that isn't true. Hence why it is impossible to be a professional and why the liberal excuse that the decision should be up to the kid, parents and doctor is total horse ****.

Children (and adults) are misdiagnosed all the time. I believe I read where around 80% of autism diagnoses are incorrect. But unlike gender augmentation surgery, no real lasting damage is done my misdiagnosing autism when a child is actually just ADHD.

You got that backwards. New Orleans is a hell hole. Everywhere else is nice if overt racism and mass incarceration dont bother you. And by overt racisim I mean where I am from theres still a black part of town and a white part of town. Theres a wal mart for black people and theres a wal mart for white people. I actually moved into the black part of town not buying into the BS. It wasnt a bad part of town or anything but a black person ends up vandalizing my car and he told people he did it because he didnt like a white kid living in the black neighborhood. Long story short I got the nearby businesses to stop selling him alcohol and he paid to fix my car real quick.

Personally I applaud a sex positive attitude. In fact I am a strong supporter of women being able to walk around topless anywhere a man can.
