He didn't call for censorship, he used his freedom of speecha nd property to push a cause he cared about and told spotify his opinion. You're attempting to make this out to be much more than what it is. You're the one acting like Joe Rogan's rights were infringed upon, when they never were. Even if Spotify pulled those episodes, his rights weren't imposed upon. You could argue his contract was infringed upon. But Spotify isn't the governemnt and has the right to say what is allowed on their platform.

I never said Obama was speaking Austrian German, Just pointing out that it was a think. What happened with Obama was he made a verbal mistake of saying "Austrian" instead of "Austria" because even idioms are heavily different between regions. But you're too obtuse to realize that.

Trucker protests are in support of the right wing agenda. You can decide who benefits from that. What I want to know is why the BLM protests that caused "hundreds of millions" of dollars in damage get crushed by the right but this one gets waved on? Hundreds of millions of dollars in damage have been done here too.
Personally I think it's fine, they can do whatever they want. Said the same thing about anti-lockdown protests too. I can think your protest is dumb but you have a right to do so. What I can't get behind is the hypocrisy of the right. Calling BLM protests riots but this peaceful. It's classic my rights matter not yours. I'm not condoning riots for the sake of rioting. I'm not reprimanding striking and shutting down means of commerce (it's the best way to effect change) I want to know what's different here. Why is it OK for the Truckers to shut down commerce to the US and from the US between the USA and Canada and it's applauded but looting a target is condemned?

Having not learned anything in engaging with you I will foolishly do so again.
Some important distinctions.
I and people like me never had issues with BLM protests. We had issues with the looting, arson, and murders. We also had issues with leaders saying protests were not allowed due to covid for things like lockdowns, churches, schools, etc... but literally joined in the BLM because they supported the cause. You'd think you would too, but that's too much an ask I guess.
Secondly, the premise of their protests is faulty and not based in reality. That's OK... they still have a right to protest... but I believe they are wildly misinformed on their grievance. They would be wise to get educated
On the Canada side... to my knowledge, there is no property destruction happening. Nobody has been murdered. It is the definition of a peaceful protest and civil disobedience
Secondly, the premise of the protest is fully legitimate. They are being mandated by their government to inject something in their body they do not want. They do not have freedom of movement. They cannot even shop in grocery stores in many areas, and they cannot leave their own country. This is a huge human rights violation that they are protesting loudly, and peavefully
Finally, Canada's response to this protest is full on authoritarian. They are stealing property from them, like gas and wood. They are forcing private companies to not deliver donated funds to the cause. They are seizing bank accounts of protesters and those who are supporting them. They have invoked essentially marshal law - which they have never done in their history. They are labeling the protestors as terrorists, and are arresting them without cause.
You can decide to think that protest is stupid, and that the government response is just. I think you are on the wrong side of history - but leftists always find themselves on the side of the tyrants
