Let's Talk About Media

All honesty, one of the great media mishaps of all time. Would be interesting to see whats admitted and not

I’m sure there’ll be dozens of good anecdotes of just how insane it was inside the WH. I’m hoping for something like a notebook dump you get from the beat writers after a terrible season. A good “oh so NOW they tell us.”

Didn’t know you needed to be an economist to understand basic principles like “costs go up, prices go up” but the people who have the credentials Jack is looking for here say the same things. This is the type of media that makes me question how anybody can think the right isn’t worse than the left.

When you say media, do you mean a guy on X?

He has 3 million followers and does nothing but political opinions. Just because your media moguls decided to start paying people online instead of on the television doesn’t make it any less of the same. Right-wing media absolutely includes people like Poso, Cernovich, etc. Hell, the Trump Admin invited a bunch of them to the White House to give them fake binders because they understand that’s where many in this country get their news.

The strength of the right’s messaging is absolutely in large part due to them understanding they can reach more people by investing in new forms of news media/punditry.

fElon declared X the only trustworthy media.

PS: Social Media is media

A conflict of interest so obvious it shouldn’t even have to be pointed out. It was the death of the first amendment when Biden’s team tried to merely influence moderation decisions on Twitter, and now the owner is actively in the federal government calling his political opponents thieves and traitors.

Enemy of the people - Until they are held accountable for their PURPOSEFUL lies nothing will ever change.

BL says a private biz owner can do with it how he sees fit

"Tried to influence moderation decisions..."

Dude, the Biden administration told social media to censor posts that the administration didn't like.

This happened several years ago so I have no idea wtf you're talking about.

Having a prominent member of the federal government control all the levers of a social media site is a bigger issue than the Biden Admin trying to control some of the levers.

When I see Musk deliberately shutting down leftist POV then we'll talk.

Have you seen how bad the left is at messaging? I wouldn’t be surprised if the GOP’s digital strategy is just to boost JoJo from Jersey.

Haha

IMO if the left wants to get their messaging up, selective Bill Burr edits are the way to go.
