surely in the old days when the president throws a hissy fit, it would have been mentioned in the headline

Something like

Coolidge Cools off from Tantrum, Signs Bill

or

Hoover Takes Break from Pushing Conspiracy Theories, Signs Bill

every single day of the past 4 years the appropriate headline would have been

Conspiracy Theorist and Narcissist Continues to Occupy Oval Office

i'd say that story has not been covered to the extent it should have been

I've said some unkind things about the New York Post, but this is a front page for the ages (and could have on very solid journalistic grounds been run every single day by every respectable news organization for the past four years)

we've had a nutjob in the White House for 4 years...that's the story of our times...and it's been a grossly under-covered story
 
I know. I recall the lamentations when he was elected. He was sure to establish a monarchy, dictatorship, Fourth Reich, etc. Nuclear war was imminent. Black people would be in chains, brown people shot, all but the wealthiest whites suffering through a Greater Depression. Gays in forced conversion therapy, their marriages nullified. Media members tossed in jail unless they changed allegiance to the oth.. I mean, Republican party.

Obviously we can thank the millions who screamed at the sky, those who burned and looted in the name of justice, and the media for keeping all of those things from coming to pass.

we should be thankful...instead all we've gotten is bleach and hydroxychloroquine and this idea we should have a cybersecurity deal with Putin...oh and an ongoing attempt to annul an election...but none of that counts apparently

the media has indeed screwed up the past four years....by grossly under-covering the biggest story of our times

I used to regularly stop by Daily Kos, VOX, MyDD and the like. I like diversifying my media perspectives and I'm generally on their side of things with regard to economics. They've all lost their principles and gone totally woke now so they are just unreadable. WSWS still has the occasional thoughtful piece but they're mostly following suit. The focus on intersectionality is directly opposed to the goals of socialism, but that doesn't seem to matter. It truly is a pandemic.

Its a cult. And it has taken over our country in academia, government, and corporate america
 
The author's point was that this stuff gained critical mass by being dreamed up in academia and taught to enough people as fact that it began to propagate. Something interesting about that article is that it uses a WSWS interview with Princeton History professor James McPherson as evidence (https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2019/11/14/mcph-n14.html.) How often can American Conservative have referred to WSWS to support their point?

I love the admission buried near the end that CNN will stop fact checking the president and move to Republicans in Congress. What an absolute joke they and any of their consumers have become.

How does anyone read and conclude there is no bias from media?
