Schafer's only season of hitting over .300 was 07
Yet he had similar on-base skills, much more power, and a consistently higher OPS.

I love Andrelton, but defense usually peaks early so it could make sense to trade him while he's still young. I don't think we'll do it to make room for Peraza though, maybe Albies in a year or two.
So, what does this mean for Peraza's development as a CF?

Peraza will still occasionally see some time in CF, but Mallex Smith will get the majority of the playing time at that position
If we play Peraza a second at 3B, we are dumb. Play him at SS unless he's butchering balls like Chipper Jones in A ball. If not SS, then 2B
So no one else wants a lineup with a bunch of fast runners? I think it would be effective. Put pressure on the defense. Get in the pitchers head.
Play INCREDIBLE defense as Well. I don't see why we can't try it out for one season.
EYJ batting third?
Sounds absurd, but he probably really is a good hitter in AAA.
Seems like really speedy players play well in the minors
Smith looks good... but he has a contact issue that will likely not play well in the big leagues
Maybin, Peraza, and Jenkins for Rendon? I'd be surprised if we traded within the division, and that may not be enough to get that done, but I'd be on board even though I love Maybin.
