Because some want to blindly hate because theit favorite player was moved. Comparing Stanton to Heyward is lunacy I'm my opinion. Marlins would laugh at a straight up deal.

Also you're the one who basically compared his upside to Stanton's in this thread. Which you would not have done if he were still on the Braves. But yeah, tell me how to be a fan.

Personally I believe Heyward can and will eventually compare a lot more to Stanton than we perceive right now. He hasn't yet, though. Stanton has been far more consistent with the bat.

Can you link me where I claim Heyward is as good as Stanton?

You never talked about Heyward even as favorably as that quote until he was dealt.

They are both talented young players. Does that mean they are all the same? If I bring up Harper and Trout too, does that I mean I am saying all 4 have the same upside?

Na I'm at work so I can afford to tip more than 10% when I go out to eat.
 
I hope they do. They lose a first round pick and moves all our picks up 1. I don't think Shields has much left in the tank anyways so hopefully it's a long term deal.

Fran Wren invested in those players... He's gone.

John Hart has gotten rid of 3 of our 4 best players in one offseason for injured pitching prospects.
