McCann clears waivers

Heyman has now edited the article. Folty and Inciarte's names are out of it, and it now says they asked for "two young players." I wonder who got pissed at him for printing that and asked for it to be changed.

Wouldn't surprise me to see them eventually come around to one young player and one older player with a little left in the tank... (Markakis maybe)?

They can't be seriously planning to keep him around over that.

Mac for Kemp, prospects and cash trade could make sense for both teams. We'd be taking on not much more money, Yankees woudl get a power hitting OF who may fair better in the AL and save a little money.
 
Mac makes a lot of sense. Hopefully Cashman will come to his senses and we can work something out.

I would LOVE to expand the deal somehow and get Clint Frazier. The Yankees desperately need some pitching

The background is that he was still building up his torso after significant hernia surgery. Anyone who has ever gone through a "before" and "after" after getting a hernia properly repaired know of what I speak.
