So predictable...

The wealth of this nation provides a much more sustainable method of getting health insurance. Its called working.

I wasn't going to bring up income disparity, concentration of wealth at the top (1%) or minimum wage issues -- but hey you opened the door.
Or our embarrassing ranking via infant mortality,

I just posted a meme I thought pertinent.
How stupid of me

They actually create jobs for those that want to work. That's one of the few requirements. Sadly too many people don't meet that minimum threshold.

Yeah but let's be honest, jobs they create in Honduras and Vietnam and Bangladesh shouldn't actually be to their credit. Just saying...

Hey man...you know we share that same viewpoint. 20% rate brings some of that back.

But it never should have gone over there in the first place. When the quest for profits gets to a certain point it's a bad thing IMO, just like those who get depressed at the lack of jobs out there in the past 10 years or so (understandable) get to the point where they just don't care anymore and want to be a sponge (also understandable but unacceptable). Ambition good and necessary, utter out of control greed isn't good IMO. Everything in life has limits whether we want to accept that or not.

Also, for those who got around paying their taxes because they were rich enough and sleezy enough and willing to do so in the past, what makes you think they'll really start paying them now? Do you really believe they'll start "playing nice" with a lower corporate rate, which they weren't paying anyway? It's kind of like a few years back when somebody arguing for higher salaries for members of Congress that "if you paid them better they wouldn't be tempted to take bribes". How did that one work out?

Again, just my 2 cents worth.

I think it's sad that I asked you a genuine and legitimate question, and you simply are too dumb to respond intelligently

Wanna get rid of off shoring? Get rid of the minimum wage.

Bet you're not willing to do that, though

Explain to me how letting bazillionaires pay the working poor even less than minimum wage is going to do anyone, other than the bazillionaires, any economic good and we'll go from there.
