Or slap a massive universal import tariff on anything beyond raw materials that enters the country. We aren't Luxembourg. This country is large enough to manufacture everything it consumes. It depresses me to think that we would rather save a couple bucks on an iPhone or a pair of Nikes by having the manufacturing plants in Asia and then shipping them several thousand miles here.
