in 08 I voted for McCain (who I thought was a great candidate who allowed an antiquated system run his campaign into the ground), in 2012 I didn't vote at all because i despised both (last thing we need is a mormon in the white house with their deranged religious ideas) I voted for W in his first election but for a write in libertarian candidate his second and this year i will probably either skip it or vote for Gary Johnson.

and yes, compromise seems to have gone the way of the dodo. people read blogs and claim they are news, people think crap like Natural News is science, more people believe elvis is alive than believe in the big bang theory (as of 2012 anyway) we have anti-vaxxers, we have extreme partisanship (both sides to blame there) and we have this recent development of personal moral superiority portrayed by the left as they tyrannically try to wedge their POV down everybody's throats. I don't like being preached at, be it jeebus junkies or SJW's. Just leave me alone.

my question was, when in our history was there just walk up and order it "compromise"

never existed. Once we won freedom from British rule it was 10-15 years of chaos until a Constitution was hammered out.
We are still fighting arguing impeding and falsly interpreting the damn thing.

that isn't true at all, nobody said "cave in to the opponent" but Reagan and tip O'Neill compromised, Nixon and the congress compromised, Clinton and Newt did lots of compromising. But it isn't just congress, people these days (especially millennial spoiled babies) don't compromise at all, there is no debating with them or middle ground, it is all shrieking and emotions and ignorant entitlement.

I don't trust people who don't make fun of other people. Those sorts of people generally have no sense of humor and a stick up their ass.

not that I am a trump supporter, i think he's just as crap as HRC. his only added bonus is if he wins i get to watch the left lose their minds, and that's ALWAYS a good thing.

Hopefully you're just a child and haven't lived long enough to know why this is a despicable statement. It's one thing to make an insensitive observation in private but another one entirely when a 70 yr old man passing himself off as a leader does it with the world watching. It's very rare for a person his age to have that lack of empathy but I think he behaves that way because he's made a calculated decision that with America's electorate he'll attract more people than he turns off.

And with your statement it's clear who has a stick up their ass.

There's a huge difference in making fun of someone for a choice they make, and making fun of someone with a physical deformity. This isn't picking on Hillary for looking like an orange teletubbie or Bernie for looking like he dries his hair with a balloon after showering. Then again, Trump is the same person who says he doesn't respect POWs because they got caught.

nope I'm 43, i just don't give a **** about what you people or any other people think. If something is funny to me, I laugh. grow a pair and stop being smug and weak because you are worried what some candy ass has to say about it. It's invigorating.

That is what blowhards do, blow smoke, but in Crooked Hillary, she would actually and literally do the opposite and will not joke around when saying it.
