That's not what the meme said.

FWIW, I do think he was treated unfairly because of the color of his skin and I think there was a general unconscious unwillingness by the silent majority to not stand up for him. The racism is deeply embedded and systemic and people are also sick and tired of talking about it. Me too, but that doesn't make it not real.

If Obama had been white, at least there would've been no birther movement and perhaps no Pres. Trump.

BS. They loved Bill Clinton, not the same as Obama but there is no such thing as a White Obama. His being biracial infused everything about him except his skin color.

Folks exhibit "A" on how 57 view blacks. They are beneath him. If any of us try to upset the status quo they claim "We don't know what is good for us."

People like that rubs me the wrong way. The black sites really teaches us that we should not turn our backs or believe in the Democrat dogma. As the article relate shows you how much they view us......just a voting block and they don't have to lift one finger to help us. Well, it tells me that we are as much as the problem as well because of this mentality. More and more young blacks are going 3rd party or Republican because of this master/slave mentality.

No voting block is a monolith and everyone is up for grabs. As long as conservatives continue to prove their policies enrich everyone they will garner more support fron minority communities.
