Spam is pretty delicious just heated in a pan. Things like squirrel, rabbit, and bear require a lot more work and innovation.

Spam is not bad at all. And makes very limited demands of one's cooking skills. I do find it interesting that the Koreans who subsisted on it for a while have turned it into a sort of national dish. A friend tells me older Koreans get quite nostalgic talking about spam.
