Michael Harris is the "left handed Acuna" per Chipper

The talent level would make it more like AA, I think. Don't know what they were actually doing there and how competitive it was.

That's the thing. We don't know if it was glorified scrimmages or what. It was probably a lot like the instructional league, but with a higher level of talent.

I'm imagining a lot of camp fires -- making smores, singing folk songs, sharing stories about their lives that are embarrassing but bring them closer to the other guys sitting around the fire. You know, typical baseball stuff.

What's impressive to me is how quickly Harris has made everyone forget about Drew Waters.

Here are Waters' K percentages, which is the big knock on him:

Age 18: 31%
Age 19: 21%
Age 20: 28.6%

In Harris' debut season at 18, he struck out only 19.8%.

I know- one stat. One piece of the prospect puzzle. But gives you an idea.

Not having an age 19 season really sucks, so for now we are going to have to trust Chipper, Grissom, and Snitker.

Chipper called Acuna a top 5 player in the sport before his rookie year.

Grissom really dropped the names Bonds and Sheffield. I mean . . .

No one forgets about the McRib once Monopoly season begins. They just order more of the other stuff.

That made my day.

At least she's not "amphibious" like Cozell McQueen was!!!

Interesting how McQueen often gets attributed to that quote. It was actually Charles Shackleford that said he was amphibious. Although, Cozell did say he chose NC State to “get out of the south”....

Wasn't it Shackleford who said he was stressed out because his sister was having a baby, and he didn't know if he was going to be an aunt or an uncle?
