When will waters return to Gwinnett? This could present problems with Harris to Gwinnett unless they plan on playing one in a corner spot

If Waters can keep hitting then I’d be fine with Waters and Harris both coming up before the deadline to see what they have but AA will have to get another OF bat before the deadline for sure.

Guys skip AAA all the time, and Harris can certainly do that as well. The goal for Harris should be MLB PAs by July 1 to get him ~100 PAs before the Aug 2 trade deadline, at which point AA can go shopping for OFers. To get Harris to MLB by July 1 he could spend the rest of May in AA, get ~100 PAs in AAA in June, then be called up.

I personally expect Harris to be in Atlanta well before July 1 though. This OF can't be filled with AAAA players much longer.

Augusta just announced their rotation for this week, and Royber Salinas and his absurd K rate are not listed as one of the starters. I would imagine we’ll see an announcement tomorrow about him being promoted to Rome.

Waters turning into a nice 4th OFer would be awesome. As we've all witnessed the last month, just having actual MLB OFers isn't always a given.

Don't bum yourselves out by looking, but Lango is hitting .316/.422/.711 in AAA over 90 PAs with a BABIP of .294, a BB rate of 14.4% and a K rate of 17.8%.

I said it the day of the trade, but I think we are going to miss him.

No doubt we will miss him. However, his stats are somewhat bloated due to playing in a ballpark whose park factor that is nearly identical to Coors field (1.2).

We saw this from Waters last summer and people were getting excited about him. Then the hole in his bat returned.
