Well Soroka proved he actually isn't a machine tonight
I stopped listening basically because the Biscuits broadcast is the only one I got.. man he is f'ing annoying. But I could tell early on he was not sharp.. just couldn't put guys away. Not getting swing and misses or looking strikes. I thought he would wiggle through a tough 5 innings, but never made it.
Touki is so weird.. he literally is 75% unhittable and 25% bonehead.. He can be so bad sometimes you want to give up on him, but just can't because of his stuff. He is literally like that girlfriend you can't stand but don't dump because the she is a freak in the sack.. And no Enscheff that doesn't mean she is crazy in a bag.. you will get it one day, I promise..
Well... he at least is still just 20. He has plenty of time to figure things out.
I have little confidence that Touki, Wisler, Wentz, or Newcomb will amount to much (beyond relief help).
I have some hope for Blair & Sims
I have high expectations for Allard, Soroka, Anderson
We shall see
When you read about his grip strength bro
red flag anybody?
this guy will be traded before the year is over.

Me? Jeez, I know this is a business but I contribute to this board dammit. Just please don't trade me to Japan.

I think people forget Sims is still just 23... and he's starting to dominate AAA
Wisler, Blair and Sims will be AAAA swingmen.
Allard has 2/3 potential.
Soroka and Anderson will be useful 4/5 starters.
Touki, Newcomb and Wentz will be BP of varying impact.

I know he's a ways away, but Anderson has been pretty dominant, aside from just the basic 'all pitching prospects have risk' I don't see why you think he's a 4/5 type.
Newcomb isn't going to be a bullpen guy, some team is going to let him start. Honestly with his build, high-end stuff and ability to strike people out - I don't think its tough to see him at least becoming a back-end inconsistent type starter. But I'd be very surprised by a move to the pen with him. He'll start somewhere, the biggest question with Nuke is how close to his ceiling does he get.
