Austin Riley, three run homer for Florida in their win. In fact, accounted for all their runs.

Allard, just checking on him, seven strikeouts in 3.2 IP so far

Won't discredit what the Mississippi staff is doing. But the barons are prehaps the worst
Offensive team in the history of ****.

Allard working on those K ratios tonight. 11k thru 6 with 0 walks.

All those strikeouts increased his pitch count, limiting him to six innings, but three hits and no walks with eleven k's is pretty awesome. Hope he can maintain what he's doing. In AA at his age, it's pretty impressive.

Funny thing about our depth....you could ask five different guys who our best pitching prospect is, and get five different answers. Every one of those answers could be right.

Absolutely. That's why it's hard for me to label "best." Personally, I think Fried or Newcomb is our "best," but that's a relative word for talent. Allard is the most complete and will probably be ready pretty quickly.

I suppose. I still believe that most wouldefinitely say Allard. For me this is how I see it:

Allard

Newcomb

Anderson

Gohara

Fried

Soroka

Weigel

Sims

Also, I would sleep on Ricard sanchez. Some encouraging reports on him and he's still super young.

Also of not we are very left handed heavy. Wonder if that's intentional.
