MLB Draft Thread

The more I read and watch on Gage Wood I really hope we don't take him. Hes the type of guy the FO will go for though I'm afraid. There will be a good SS there at that pick from most mock drafts and we need more MI in the system.
 

Kruz Schoolcraft Is another name to watch. He's a 6'8 HS lefty with a big arm that is smooth. His and Caminiti would be a good 1-2 to have.​

Bremner is in the mix for some teams picking ahead of here, but I think this is his likely stopping point. Gage Wood, Marek Houston, Tate Southisene, Josh Hammond and Daniel Pierce also get mentioned here.

Keep an eye on Ty Peeples, Jaiden LoRe and Micah Bucknam at later picks.
 
I'm a Louisville alum and want no parts of Patrick Forbes.

I also want no parts of Gage Wood. It looks like recency bias is coming into play with him and his no hitter against a team who was a 4 seed in the tournament.

Agreed. I'd love to see an offensive focus. They have plenty of pitching upside in the system. No need to draft another arm unless an elite one suddenly drops in their lap.
