i don't see why they can't start now and just have the players take Lysol injections after each game. shine UV lights down their throats as well, just to be extra safe.
You start.
I just can’t see them doing realigned leagues with the issues the DH will cause. The NL teams weren’t prepared for a full time DH this soon, and AL teams aren’t prepared to have their pitchers hit as often as they’ll have to if they go the “home team rules” route.
You start.
no one pointing out that it would give the Braves the opportunity to be the first team to ever win a division title in the west, central and east?

The 1918 Spanish Flu infected 1/3 of the global population and killed 675,000 people.

It had no impact on the 1918 season. Only WWI caused the season to be shortened.
I see video of NYPD beating people to (and on) the ground for failing to adhere to social distancing and have to wonder how in the world we have become so fearful of a disease, that unlike the Spanish Flu, is largely not dangerous to the majority of the population that such behavior by those in authority is not causing a massive revolt against oppression of civil liberties.
Some sort of a round robin tournament like the College WS would be cool to see.
Not to sound controversial, but I’m against this virus.
Nobody's interested in nuance anymore, and all conversations now just devolve into overblown generalizations like this ...

I thought it was stunning and brave.
