MLB Playoffs Thread

I always liked Blanco.

Never understood the massive hate for him. He is a great role player and spot starter. But some are concerned with finding a bench player with a higher obp.

It seems to me that I recall Blanco getting crosswise with the Braves at some point (maybe it was while he was in the minors). He's turned out better than I thought he would, but for those giving Wren a free pass, he's the guy who traded him. Of course, we got something for him. The Royals and the Nats didn't when he exited their premises.

Poor Lincecum. I always was a fan of his, but he has had very little luck (individually) since his early, brilliant peak.

That's because he never had a chance to play with Fredi. He would've thrived under Fredi.

Frank Wren's biggest mistake this past season was not willing to give Hudson a 2nd year. Actually, it might be the biggest mistake of his tenure after the BJ signing, considering it could haunt us into this next season as well.

Um, someone failed geography class:

Poory Huddy. Would love to see KC win the series just so people can say the Royals won in spite of Ned Yost being the manager.

My mother-in-law taught Jarrod Dyson in high school, and my father-in-law coached him in football in high school. I'd like to see that kid in center field in Atlanta.

Mabye Dayton knew what he was doing all along. Shame that the organization which took over twenty years to build was dismantled the last 5 years.

I'm talking about Wren. All of the old guard that has come back in recent weeks has soured me on Wrens tenure.
