MLB Playoffs Thread

Looks like this series is going 7. Guess who is the projected starter for the Giants..... either Hudson finally gets his ring in the biggest start of his life or the Royals celebrate winning the championship at home. Feels like a win win situation.

You know what pisses me off more than anything about this postseason? The lazy HDH nickname for Herrera, Davis, and Holland has become a "thing." Not because they don't deserve it, but because we Barved in 2012 (with a big helping hand from the umps) and were robbed from a deep postseason run where O'Ventrel or O'Vimbrel became part of the baseball lexicon for a few weeks. That nickname kicks HDH's ass.
 
Bumgarner is easily, EASILY the best big-game postseason pitcher in baseball and it's not close.

Just filthy.
 
I remember giles/harperfan giving me grief when i said Bumgarner is better than Strasburg.

Now that isnt even debateable anymore.

Bochy said before game that preference is to hold Bumgarner back for potential Game 7 and have him available then for two to three innings.
 
Of course, this World Series has been the polar opposite of the rest of the postseason. Blowouts and a long series.
